Why people call us back

A local crew with the right truck for it

Owner-operated

Larry Reinhardt runs the bucket truck himself. The person who prices your job is the person who shows up to do it, and the number on this site rings his phone.

The right equipment on site

Forestry bucket truck with a chip box, tow-behind chipper, dump truck and dump trailer, plus rope and saddle for the trees a truck cannot reach.

Storm response

Trees on houses and across driveways go first. Call any hour during storm season and we will tell you honestly how soon we can be there.

Year-round work

Snow, mud or heat. Frozen ground in winter is often the best time for a big removal on a soft lawn, and the schedule is more open.

MISS DIG on every stump job

Michigan law requires a locate three business days before anything goes below grade. We file it, every time, on every grind.

Power lines handled properly

The service drop from the pole to your house is the homeowner's responsibility. We coordinate a temporary disconnect with Consumers Energy so nobody is working live.

What it costs

Straight answers on price

These are the ranges most jobs in our area land in, not a price list. Every job is priced on site or from your photos, in writing, before anything is cut.

What moves a price most is access, not species: a tree the bucket truck can reach from the driveway costs less than the same tree behind a cottage that has to be climbed and roped out over a roof. Working close to a structure or a wire typically adds 25 to 50 percent.

  • Most removals land between $250 and $4,500, driven by height and access.
  • Most trimming jobs land between $250 and $1,500 per tree.
  • Stump grinding runs $3 to $6 per inch of diameter, $100 minimum.
  • Bucket truck work with an operator is about $175 per hour, one hour minimum.
  • Seasoned hardwood is $95 per face cord delivered within 20 miles, $85 picked up.
